Default Trijicon ACOG TA50 3x24

https://www.trijicon.com/products/details/ta50-c-400238

I have a buddy who recently parted out with his arsenal slr-107 to get a bcm m4. He also sold all his aftermarket furniture and accessories separately except for his acog. He told me he is willing to sell it to me for $530 however I know next to nothing about it other than its got the standard acog durability/reliability and its made for the 7.62x39 caliber. Anyone have experience with one, any positives or negatives?

I've used the 3x30 for 300blk and really liked it. They're a good optic however I'd suggest really looking through the optic to see if you like the 3x magnification on a 24mm optic... some people just don't care for it.

If its a friend's then you should probably ask to mount it up and try it. I havent used this model, its certainly on my list...but I can say that every iteration of ACOG is pretty different from one another. The way I see it is that they are each designed to solve different problems, it depends on which problems the shooter wants solved.

Many people hate the eye relief on the 4x32 models, so they have these other ones to solve that for example.

Have this optic on my 5.45, love it. Perfect mag for that caliber. It does have a short eye relief, so watch that with the 7.62 when it comes to recoil and your eye. Havent tried it on my SLR-107 yet, just the SLR104

I have Trijicon ACOG 3.5x35 Riflescopes. I purchased that for my SCAR 17s and to be honest it's one of the best riflescopes in my arsenal. It Features a tritium/fiber optic illuminated reticle that automatically adjusts the brightness based on available light. The ACOG can be used as a CQB sight when shooting “both eyes open,” utilizing the Bindon Aiming Concept. I was looking for a good quality riflescope for my 17s and I found this resource useful : https://outdoorever.com/best-scope-for-scar-17/ and hope you will get benefitted too.

I'd like to get the 3.5x35 for the .223 rem cartridge . They seem to be sold out everywhere . I prefer a fixed power scope .

Told my friend to let me try it out and if I like it, I'll buy it. Had it mounted last week and finally got the time to try it out today. After getting it dialed in this little thing is pretty damn sweet. I think Im going to go ahead and keep it for the price he offered. I didn't think the eye relief was too bad. Have it mounted on an rs regulate.

I want an acog but I hear they're not for those with shit sight.
Might go with a 1-4 like the trijicon or the steiner

My red dots become like a figure 8 or exclamation point when turned up.
I turn them upside down and the image orientation stays the same so supposedly it's my eyes not the sight.
I just got a $4000 credit limit with b&h. Which acog for an aug?
