I Hate to miss the fun. I’ve got to haul a load tomorrow and Saturday to bald knob Arkansas. To make up for Tuesday and Wednesday weather issues. Have fun.

Smile Questions about Kalashni-con

Hi Guys,
I watched some of the videos from the event a couple of weeks ago. It looks like a lot of fun! Please see my questions below and answer if you are able.

When does registration for the May 2020 event open?
Does it matter whether you use an optic or iron sights for a given match?
Are all caliber AKs allowed?
Can AK pistols be used, and/or substituted for handguns/pistols?
Will there be night shooting making a weapon light helpful?

I thank you in advance for answering my questions.

Hi Springloaded. Thanks for your interest in our events! Answers to your questions below. We will be starting a dedicated thread for Kalashni-Con 2020 this weekend so be sure to reference that as it will have lots of info specific to that event (this one was for the Winter event we did last month).

1. Registration will open at the end of March
2. You can run optics or irons
3. Yes (no PCC in competition)
4. AK pistols in rifle caliber are OK to bv use on any rifle stage. Only pistol calibers on pistol stages. No PCC's in competition.
