How is a bolt action 22 not allowed in NJ? Centerfire has their heads up their assess.

They probably don't want to deal with this:

"It is the responsibility of the seller of the rifles and/or shotguns, including bb, pellet, and black powder rifles to ascertain that the buyer has a valid Firearms Purchaser Identification Card plus one additional form of photo identification and completes a Certificate of Eligibility for each firearm."

I get it...but it goes to an FFL. Its a modern made gun not a Curios.

NJ is afraid of creating another "little gun nut". If they start learning now then when they get bigger they'll want a "real" one...

It's been out for a while. Cool and I would pick one up sub-$200 but I won't pay 91/30 going rates for a 22 copy of the real thing

Honestly, if I wanted a .22, I'd pick up one of the Polish Mosin .22 trainers. They come up every so often. Would rather have one of those in the collection.

Whoa, $320 for a .22LR Mosin look alike? Man, for that price you can get a real mosin Nagant or a really nice Ruger American with threaded barrel that takes 10/22 mags,
