Is their anyway to adjust The hight for the side folder catch on a Ak 100 series?
I am talking about front catch, side of the reciver. The one I have is a little high and requires a little upward pressure to catch the butt stock. Might not be a big problem just dont want to put undue stress on the hinge.

There is no adjustment to the latch in the receiver.
You can however take a flat faced pin punch of about 1/4 inch diameter and flatten or extend the latch bulge on the stock itself where it starts to turn back inward to the buttplate area. This will allow it to latch without moving or stessing it upward or downward. The change will be invisible, pretty much. Last edited by AKBLUE; 12-05-2011 at 05:38 PM. |
