Depends on its condition.

If it's in good to new condition, yeah, it's a real good price.

If it's been beat and mutilated, well, some things can't be fixed . .

it looked pretty good, the numbers matched and had a ten round mag, there was a little pitting under the finish on the front sight ear but didnt look active, how hard arethe to put regular stocks on?

Not hard at all.

Was it a slimline 10 round mag?

If so, you're gonna have to put another $100-150 into it to have it legally use milsurp mags.

lol here in the north i payed $620 for mine.Maybe because there was one place that had it and i had to travel a hour and a half to get.So 250 is not bad.

me too during the gun scare afew yrs back..but it came w/6mags and 2 cases of ammo(4320rds)...cbr

$750 for my tantal.Here in the north you cant get them.Its all ar's.Shops dont like the ak's.

I sold mine a few months ago here in new york for $350 it had over 6k through it and it went through a few dozen "ak reliability" test with dirt and water baths. So it was not so nice looking anymore. $250 jump on it, if you don't like it I think you could make a buck and definitely get your money back
