I'm reading his 2008 book right now and just finished the chapter where he said the same exact thing. I wonder how many times he has to say it before people wake up.

I have been telling people for years...."this is no longer a free country and hasn't been for years". And, people look at me like I am nuts!

Paul is absolutley correct the balance of power among the branches of our government have been systematically erroed/diluted. Most of the Congress members have their personal agendas that are not in their constituents best interests, they answer to corporate America not the citizens. Too bad Congressman Paul is just too old to be President!

I haven't read up on the rules, not sure at what age they cut you off from office. But someone better let Ron know before he spends too much money on his campaign.

There is no upper limit on the age of presidents. But it will be a talking point in the primaries that he is too old and might die while in office. They might not come right out and say it. It'll be more like the elephant in the room.

That was the knock on McCain. Funny how the all loving left isn't afraid to use age discrimination to its advantage.

Not just the left, but the members of the right who are afraid of his type of politics.

My uncle who I (with Dr. Pauls books) converted from being a neo-con to a ....."soft-libertarian" have been discussing him at length lately. He agrees with me that the Republican party doesn't have an eligible candidate outside of him but we both agree he's our generations Goldwater.

Too much truth, honesty and integrity. The American public will hate it.

One problem is that He is labelled as a "kook" by Michael Medved, Rush Limbaugh, and other conservative mouthpieces.

most of the radio talkshow hosts are afraid of the flak they get from the listeners when they bad mouth him. Just keep emailing them tellingt hem how pissed you get when they trash him.

Yes, the real problem is that people can be told how to think.

These talk radio/TV "conservatives" are just pied pipers that lead us by the nose. They tell us a few things that we want to hear on hot button issues to gain our audience, but on things that really matter like the federal reserve, foreign entanglements, globalism, national debt, etc., they have the same basic agenda as their liberal media counterparts.

As always follow the money trail and see who stuffs their bank accounts and gives them a microphone. You will find it is the same sources who fund the liberal mouthpieces as well which seems odd at first, but makes perfect sense in the bigger scheme of things.

Goes back to our *one* party political system we have...false choices at the ballot box/ false choices at the squawk box...they are one and the same.

Guys, I think we're the only ones who are listening.

As I look around, even at other gunsites, it is both sad and pathetic how few realize. Too many people wish to keep this all going as is, regardless the fact that its collapse is inevitable. When it does, those I am talking about think they will simply fall back on us.

Paul is correct about almost all of that and we are going down the same road as Rome. It is doubtful that we will last so long as they. Things happen much faster in modern times and the illusion of strength can only persist for so long.

Unfortunately, his pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

I think the better question is, who is acting?!?

I haven't noticed a canidate but Paul who I like, or has a clue. Unfortunately, I don't think he has a chance. Any of the rest of the idiots are just muddying the waters for the real candidates. We are so f*&^$d

I wish that Trump had run. For all his shortcomings at least he stood up and said some of the things that needed to be said.

And unlike Ron Paul, people actually paid attn to him.

Paul is too old and is totally unelectable in any event.

The 5th Column MSM just ignores him and he gets no coverage. Without that, he, and we, are dead in the water.

It really wasn't like his election would have changed much of anything anyhow. It might have ended the War in the ME. Maybe. Unfortunately, that is pretty much the only thing I disagree with him on. Not that we don't need to GTFO, but we should tread carefully so as not to leave a power vacuum that can be filled by our enemies. On top of that, the Muslim Brotherhood that 'b0ng0 has fed is not likely to be turned back now.

Going to really suck to be a european in the not too distant future.

Just keep votin' though, that'll lern 'em.

MSM is what kills the best candidates. Ignore or smear the conservatives while bowing down to the Looney Left.

Default The Republic

I am voting for Paul, don't care if he is old, John McCain was
the one the media convinced the GOP to counter Obama, and
he was a non starter.
I am not going along with the pos the GOP puts up there this
time. Paul might not win but I am gonna vote my convictions.

Reagon was older than Paul, and look at all the good he did for the country during his eight years in office.

Notice most people say Paul is too old, they don't say he has no idea what he is talking about.

Think about it, if things don't change, 2012 just might be the year the world was destroyed. Or, at least, large portions of it.

Don't get me wrong, I am a 100%er when it comes to RP. I just know that no number of people will vote for him because today's so-called Republicans have forgotten what the term "republican" actually means and they follow the before-named radio goobs. Ron Paul is the ONLY presidential candidate who bases his views in the Constitution as it was written with its original intent.
