alright i gotta Hungarian FEG Browning HP clone and noticed yesterday at the range there where issues with Winchester ammo not ejecting properly, the empty case just stays in the chamber. i was also shooting Federal, Remington, PMC, and some Danish 9mm surplus. i had no problems with any of it and the pistol worked fine.
so is there a possible issue with extractor claw on pistol or problem with Winchester cases being out of spec or just a pistol that doesn't like certain ammo.

Looks like you answered your own question, if you tried 4 other brands and they all worked...... I guess your gun doesn't like WWB.
My guns all love the stuff and I have never had a problem with it. If you just got the gun, I would suggest taking a close look at the extractor anyways. |

Never had a problem with WWB out of my Browing Hi-power Mk III. Check that extractor.

what SGT said makes sense. are the rims on the white box stuff the same as the others? might be right on the edge of the spec and your extractor may be as well though it pulls the others without issue. it's a stacked tolerances thing perhaps.
my BIL had the same issue,( intermittent extraction of another brand ), with a Browning, and a new extractor fixed it. otherwise there's not much you can do.

Although, it is not uncommon for 9mm to be finicky. My Walthers PPS and P99 do not like Silver Bear steel cased 9mm. My dad's Simpson Luger really likes PMC but not WWB or Federal.
The only problem I have had with the BHP is with steel cased ammo and the Argentine 17 rd mags. I have heard that the WWB is reloaded brass, and sometimes you can get a "squib" round that is loaded kind of weak. I cannot prove that, but that might have something to do with the failure to eject. |

I have had mixed success with WWB. My hi-point c-9 absolutely hates it while my p99 only somewhat hates it. The problem with Winchester white box is that it is loaded near the maximum length SAAMI allows. Put a round of your Winchester next to a few other 9mm rounds and you should easily notice that the Winchester stuff is longer.
