Shhoting my friends AK and helping him clean afterwards and noticed something that doesnt look right. Not sure what the part is called but looks like it is worn through.
Is this something that could be a dangerous problem? Thanks guys

That is known as a "bullet guide", essentially a feed ramp with a bolt camming surface on the left. Dangerous, no. It could cause failures to feed. What does the bottom of the bolt look like?

Looks like maybe it was hit with a grinder?
