The man was unhinged and on fire, glad to see it. I liked the pic of the national guard training for riot control and the mock rioters were holding signs that said "Food Now!".

Interesting display today though. Oh the clip of the lady having her gun taken from her in her own home during Katrina I have seen before.

I cannot help but to want to slap people who are still in the clouds.

Beck is good but he goes on for several segements, gets people worked up (I think) then reverts to do like Ghandhi.

This isn't India and we aren't dealing with a Brit occupation.

The rules have changed in a fundamental way.

None of actually WANT violence, I sincerely believe. We may get pissed off and blow off steam once in a while, but the truth is that we ALL have lives outside of this website and those include families and friends and pets and so forth, that I would wager NONE of us here want to see suffer in all this.

And yet, as was previously pointed out, it is NOT in OUR hands to prevent it, IF the other side (or even if some of those on our own "side" lose their patience and respond to the provocations of the progressives and their minions) chooses to start it anyway. ALL we can do is plan, prepare, and share information/intel/opinions about what our options are IF we are put in a place where the choice becomes- as Doc says- "Fight or Die".

But not WANTING violence is NOT the same as allowing ourselves to be made INCAPABLE of it should the situation arise to warrant it. Those on the "other side" who lurk, post, provoke, and monitor here should keep that in mind when considering the calls to action by those on THEIR side, such as Van Jones. After reading about the crap that went down during Katrina I dont give the .gov any weight. It took too long to respond and when they did respond they had no idea how to handle the situation. For those folks who believe the .gov will step in and save them when the going gets tough they are seriously ill. It's all right there for them to see. This was New Orleans, imagin SHTF on a broader scale, coast to coast. How f'd up can folks be to think that the .gov can handle support a populus of refugees. People need to wake the hell up. They dont care right now because they are Entertained, Fed. The only way people are going to realize how F'd they are is if someone turns off the Cable TV and makes people look around. Right now they can hit a button and be in their chosen fantasy land in moments and its all good, the world can burn as long as they are entertained.

I have noticed Beck gets fired up for a couple of shows and then reverts to the holding hands, singing and talk of God. I get it, its a good msg but I think i like the whipped into a furver shows better. When gets rolling its good, but untill he starts leading the charge its all entertainment. I like the Tea party and all. I just am really starting to come around to the idea that, it doesnt matter who you "vote" into office unless you can force a change of the puppet master all the puppets will continue the same dance.

Mostly, I am VERY tired of being fucxed with.

I watched an episode of Beck for the first time the other night. It was all I could do to make it through the entire segment. Seriously. The Pro Wrestling Announcer-type of body language and cadence is hard for me to sit through. It really is. Reminds me of the parodies you see of Shatner with the overly-exaggerated body movements and so forth. Way too much Hollywood in the presentation for me and it distracts from whatever he's trying to get out to the audience. I might have been better off if I had just heard and not seen him.

I used to listen to Rush years ago and then he came out with the TV show. That just about ruined it for me with Rush too. I haven't listened to him for years but it's because I know where I stand, not because I do -or do not- like him. Sometimes there's just waaaaay too much showmanship and it becomes broken recordish after a short while. If I detect plastic at all, it's a turn off. I don't care who it is.

It was all I could do to make it through the entire segment. Seriously. The Pro Wrestling Announcer-type of body language and cadence is hard for me to sit through. It really is. Reminds me of the parodies you see of Shatner with the overly-exaggerated body movements and so forth. Way too much Hollywood in the presentation for me and it distracts from whatever he's trying to get out to the audience. I might have been better off if I had just heard and not seen him. I used to listen to Rush years ago and then he came out with the TV show. That just about ruined it for me with Rush too. I haven't listened to him for years but it's because I know where I stand, not because I do -or do not- like him. Sometimes there's just waaaaay too much showmanship and it becomes broken recordish after a short while. If I detect plastic at all, it's a turn off.
