Default Blueprints/CAD

Hi,

I'm Mike. I'm really into CAD models. Right now I'm working on a 1911 CAD assembly. I was really hoping to do an AK or variant. I have some blueprints for various things and a couple of CAD parts for others. AK blueprints are hard to come by though. I'm open to sharing, trading, or even buying CAD models/Blueprints. If anyone has AK stuff/H&K stuff please let me know.

Hey ronin,

Thanks I did check that out. I probably have at least 3 receiver blueprints. I haven't used any of them, and I probably have the same problem with them being all different. I guess I was looking for gas block, gas piston, barrel, bolt and carrier, trigger group, magazine. Everthing really. I only have the receiver and slide for the 1911 right now but blueprints are more available than the AK.

You aren't going to find CAD prints for everything. I think guys focused on the receiver as that was the key part they had to build to get their AKs going. The rest can be sourced very cheaply from vendors such as Copes, Centerfire, Apex and AK-Builder based on the country of your choice, your preferences, etc.

There was a guy who was trying to do an American made AK. He must at least have trunnion, gas block and piston, bolt and carrier, and with this barrel ban probably barrel. I'm not looking for Russian prints just reverse engineered stuff.
