Are We Too Diverse?

Are we too far gone? I posted the Here thread as an example of the mindset of the mass populance. Following the links to infinity, as you can from anywhere, it is clear to me that we are nolonger a 'people', are have been dilluted. What binds us? Is there enough of us to hold things together?
I posted just a taste of the things we discuss here on a daily basis on another forum (cityprofiles.com) for which I was labled a 'crazy', my comments were immediately dismissed and I was banned, not once but twice. Thanks to hidemyass.com I have returned.

I was thinking this morning that 'we' teeter on the brink of chaos and once our house of cards, now leaning, dangerously, begins to fall, what will come of us?

I think that many people have hunkered down in their homes complete with internet, computer games, social internet networks, call-in food delivery and whatever else you can think of that keeps you indoors. This is a real problem. The whole thing is setup to keep you inside.

I am able to go on the internet and find way more like-minded people that I normally would by walking my streets and talking turkey with my neighbors. I don't have to head out of the house to shop, other than food, because all I do is order on-line and a box magically shows up at my door.

Heck, I can do many parts of my job by internet VPN. I don't know a lot of people in my area, as there has been a huge intercity migration toward my and every surrounding areas. There's only a few old-timers left and they are busy bodies.

This alone facilitates social weakening and undermines the whole system. I would expect if anything like that movie Surrogate came out, it would get exponentially worse.

Too much diversity, yes.

It unravels the social fabric that holds us together. Less common interests every day.

That was the goal of diversity in the first place.

Holding political power for the left was just a benefit of it.


It is more complicated than that, of course.
We have become a very selfish and self-indulgent people. Though the term people may be a misnomer.
Everyone is pulling their own direction, involved only in themselves.

Some of this is technology, some of it is just the fact that our neighborhoods are going to shit as well as a general contempt for one another at a most basal level.

The neighbors kids are thugs or thieves, or just plain obnoxious little assholes.
Their daughters are getting knocked up in high school so they can go on welfare. They attract entirely the wrong kind to our neighborhoods.
They are all using drugs, some of them are their parents in a neat little fact of modern life with narcotics in every medicine cabinet.
Most of those using them are worthless at work, can't hold a job, even if they have any ambition in the first place. So they hang out about the hood and cause problems.

You want to see it stop?

If we don't do something about entitlements, we are screwed.
If we don't do something about the immigration issue, and fast, we are screwed.
If we don't do something to instill responsibilty, and that is going to require ending entitlements as well as people actually raising their kids, we are screwed.


guess what?


Yeah, we are screwed.

What MIGHT save us?

A massive crisis, far worse than 9/11, and for longer.

A massive collapse of the System.

Something so severe that if forces us to pull together for an extended period in order to survive.

So what most people would consider the worst possible scenario (what I would consider moderate SHTF over a very large area) may be our only hope.

Either that, or maybe in a few hundred years some new and strong group of people desiring freedom may arise yet again. That is provided that technology hasn't completely and utterly ended human freedom forever.

You will be assimilated.

We are out of time though. If we solve the problems I noted above, and start right f'ing now, we MIGHT pull it off. Might. Maybe.

The politicians won't do it. In fact, they are pulling the opposite direction, even the Repubs.
The people are addicted to their handouts so when it comes down to it there won't be enough to make the difference.

Virtually everyone getting some sort of govt handout, and that is a very large segement of the American population, would rather see the country collapse rather than give it up.

How many people on SSI are going to vote to see an end to it all inorder to save our economy and our nation?

I will point out here that the Catholic Church has put considerable effort into forcing the West to accept all of these dregs.

The Lutherans do all they can to help them get here, get their family members here after the fact, and make sure they get hooked up with all of their handouts at the expense of all who pay taxes.

It is when they see diverse futures that the problems start.

The blame for such an outlook lies squarely with the so-called "progressives"(socialists) & other proponents of "diversity".

Their route leads to division & with division comes conflict.

A nation can only progress if everyone pulls in (roughly) the same direction & right now, I can't think of one nation espousing "Western" values fitting that particular bill.

It would be good for us to all catch on and unite against them but such is not likely to be the case. Pieces have been maneuvered, masses have been indoctrinated, some enslaved with the velvet shackles of entitlements.
