after 3 months... the crapcaster is coming back... or so they say

Well I was one of the suckers who bought the first rough riders... sent it back in to scamcaster in late april or early may after shooting it halfway apart.. then the wait... may... june.. july...

Just got a call from "Shane" thursday saying my rifle is fixed and has been test fired with a new barrel. Actually got a tracking number... crossing my fingers!!! Anyone get a good rifle back from them yet? Ihope they actually fixed it...

I'm getting a Saiga regardless eventually.. I'm done with these crappy builds... saiga or vepr or Mak from now on only!

It used to be that the best way to get a good reliable build was to do it yourself if you had the equipment & skills. Unfortunately, there are some companies, who prefer to sell quanity over quality. Good luck with your second go around......

Yeah I learned the hard way

. I don't have the equipment yet. But I see a good spot for it all in my shop now..

Got it in today... looks good so far.. they replaced the rear trunnion rivets, put an east german barrel on, and recoated it. I put my furniture back on and plan on dumping some brass Monday.

If it shoots as good as looks, you're gonna be just fine.
