Default church/school exploiting kids to raise money.

Remember the days when student fundraisers entailed selling cookies or washing a few cars? Well, it appears that kids at St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church Private School in Oakland (map) are going above and beyond the call of duty to raise money. According to a report by Anna Werner of CBS5, school principal Pastor Robert Lacy and other men have been dropping off students in downtown San Francisco. There, the kids have been standing on sidewalks with their trays of snacks and asking for donations from passersby.

The students claim they did this five days a week, after or during school, and that they worked well into the evening or even late at night. And sometimes they were alone. The May 20 video above shows a 10-year-old boy by himself at 8:20 p.m.

One boy said he raises "at least $100 to $175 every day." The donations would fund construction of a new building, said one kid. Werner reports there were no building permits issued for the church's property. Another kid said they were raising money for a trip to DC -- a journey that apparently never happened.

Might as well teach them a profession early since they have no hope for a future.

Well, not all bad, they have learned valuable skills for life under Nobama. Change, you want change? You will get all the change you want and more, just pan handle for it. Its going to be your only source of income.

lol

the best thing the catholic church ever did was convert the Irish

we ALWAYS need more Irish, and those Catholics pop a new one out every 9 months

of course it kinda backfired on us when they converted the Mexicans...
