UPS says mine are suposed to be here tomorrow. Me n 2 buddies ordered 3 so I should get a good idea of what they got. I normally ignore the AKF emailer but that was too good of a deal to pass up.

Sorry to tell you but they sold out days ago.
I got mine today. I can’t see any sign that it’s ever been shot. The paint is still on the bolt lugs. It’s probably the best kit that I’ve ever gotten. The only things that I’m a little disappointed with are that it doesn’t have the dimpled mag latch and they ground on the selector leaver. I think both of these parts came from a different rifle. The finish is different on both parts. If they still had these kits I’d buy a couple more after seeing mine. Elk…

They've taken them off their website. I assume they've sold out.
$250 was special pricing for theakforum.net members. They were available to non-members for $350. |

Were these with original barrels? If not, you can save $5 and get em from Apex:

I looked over 3 kit breifly. All appear unfired and new condition. 2 have brown pistol grips and regular mag catches, 1 has a black grip and the dimpled mag release. All were black synthetic stock kits. Got 8 mags too, they are a bit scratched but decent looking.

got mine in today, small blob of easily removeable weld on bottom of lug and connecting comp to fsb, solid wood, 1 good the other cold use some refinishing, brown plastic pg on both, ground on safety, 1 dimpled release, 1 non-dimpled
I be a happy camper! so what's with the dimpled vs. non-dimpled releases and the grinding on the safeties? |

I got three. All three are matching numbers and look brand new/never fired. I wish I would have gotten 5 more.

Came UPS this afternoon, Looks brand new never been shot, bayonet lug is there , just a spot of weld on the muzzel brake. All matching numbers, with cleaning rod and all wood furniture, also 4 mags new in a carrier. Great value, hope its going to be fun to build,, WHO MAKES THE BEST 100% RECEIVERS FOR THESE, or a good predrilled flat? Graywolf is a happy wolf tonight

Nodak now has 3 different versions of the NDS-2.Regular, the EZ with pre drilled trunnion and scope mount holes, and one with the SN# lowered for side folder installation. Hands down the way to go with theses kits.

Thanks for the input. Ordered 2 NoDak Spud EZ receivers, They look great and a good value. I am still using 100% receivers but i have a few 47 flats and rails that i really want to build out for the fun of it. Bought all the tools (spot and mig welder) a nice drill press and a few mill vises. With so many companies going bust the online market for tools is awash in all sort of bargins. Built rivet crushing tools and am praciticeing to get them right. Bought a pnuematic for next to nothing and tried it on some steel rivets, worked like a champ. The trice will be to cut down the jaws so it can fit into a receiver. There is so much metal there it will wear out a few discs, The damn thing weight 20 lbs and is as long as my arm (see attached pic) But regardless of what has been said it crushes steel rivets like a cheap tin can. How is it nowbody seems to have used one once the jaws are ground down? Will post pic when doneusing on a receiver.
