Hypothetically speaking you are successful.

The govt backs down from pushing further leftwing interventions and portions of their agenda but leaves what has been done in place.

Now what?

Taxes will rise, more legislation will be stuffed down our throats - people will be angered...

The new temp tax they are proposing along with amnesty for illegals and more programs will bring about a consumer tax...

And then the average soccer moms and dads will be enraged and take to the streets, demanding change - possibly even his stepping down...

Groups will cry racism and clashes will occur - he will try to use troops to settle the issues, maybe even martial law - which will only make it worse.

And still people will protest - and then riot - things will get worse, unemployment skyrocketing and massive revolt...

Or I could be wrong...

Either way it could go anyplace from there...

Martial Law?

Poverished attacking for food and money - thats assured as things get tight crime will rise steadily...

Then you can put on your war faces...

Or nothing will happen, they will pass taxes, soccers will sit at home scratching their asses and in four years he will be one and done - unless ACORN steals another election - then back to the above...

Thats how I see it - everyone else assumes a switch will flip and anarchy will be the order of the day...
