Well , a rousing debate in another current thread has me thinking. That's probably never a good thing. What do we do? Honestly, I have seen no valid suggestions. We all agree that we are being eaten by the bear (an overbearing, self cenetered, self serving. aristocratic, lying, thieving government). How do we turn this around and eat the bear?

Voting doesn't seem to work. With ACORN and voting fraud, all the people voting money to themselves in the way of social service payouts, wealth distribution and other forms of socialism, voting may never really work again.

Common sense certainly doesn't seem to work.

Right and wrong have no effect. They certainly don't care what is the right thing to do.

What now, harsh language?

I am sincere in the question. I am approaching a hundred days of food and water stores, along with ammo and the tools that require it. I also realize that no man is an island and all this does me little good if I am alone with my back against the wall. In other words, perhaps we should consider some social networking and planning of our own. It seems to work for the libtards.

Here's the deal, I would really like to discuss this with no bitch slapping, calling someone's manhood into question, insults, accusations of tin foil hattery, the new world order, or zionist conspiracies. I simply want to talk, seriously talk, about how we can push OUR agenda and right the ship we all know is floundering under the current and most likely the former administrations.

We should all be caching some supplies where they cannot be easily found and taken.

Seriously though, different people have different skills and want to approach it differently. That is understandable though it seems that no one is catching on to the reality of our failures.

Everyone has a different line in the sand.
Mine was crossed long ago but again, unilateral action is ridiculously foolish.

So the bottom line, as I have noted many times previously, is that we lack unity and leadership. I used to think leadership was more necessary of the two but I know longer believe that to be the case.

The thread in question is a perfect example of that lack of unity, but I digress.

One thing we really have to remember is that the people who speak out on radio and TV talkshows are NOT leaders. They serve a vital role as messengers but that is all they are.

Leaders will be hunted down and imprisoned after their character is assassinated. Some will be simply killed if they put up even token resistance.
Hence I would recommend that all understand the concept of Leaderless Resistance.

That is NOT a call for anyone to act unilaterally in a premature fashion. We are nowhere near the point of action as yet.

Learn
Train

Then stay ready.

The more of us who do so the more ready we will be, in all respects.

If some want to Hop, so be it. Maybe they are particularly good at hopping. LOL.

But I think it ridiculous for anyone to actually believe that doing so will ultimately change ANYTHING.

So, what am I doing?

I have taken some time away from the working world to seriously prepare. Many years of 12-14 hour days, or more, left me out of shape and very fatigued.

I'm working out every day. Building strength, endurance, and losing weight. I'm doing pretty well-better than I expected-but I am 50 and it has not been easy.
Nor have I any illusion about my survival odds in such a scenario. I used to be able to move like a deer. Fast, agile. It ain't what it was but I am getting a lot back and I have the years of experience now also.

On the off chance enough of us decide to actually do something to stop the theft and destruction of our nation, I want to be as ready as I can be.

1. You done good kid ... keep adding to the pile. Learn as many skills (sewing, food storage, better ways of getting/storing water etc) Teach you skill to EVERYBODY in you home ... and then your friends.

2. You ain't alone. And you ain't the only sincere one. Keep reaching out to as many people as you can ... TALK to them ...TEACH THE ONES THAT WILL LISTEN.

3. READ HISTORY ... LEARN FROM IT...

What did Martin Luther King do?
What did the Anti war movement do during the 60's and 70's ...

What is going on now in Iran?


TAKE IT TO THE STREETS ...

Thanks Doc. I appreciate your input. I am disabled and can barely walk. Hence, training presents some logistic difficulties. If the SHTF, I realize the the weak and infirm will be the first to be culled. The laws of nature, I understand. I can accept that. That's why I have been working on the prepare and learn aspect. Never really thought about caching outside of my home. This is also why I want as involved a discussion as we can make this. I want to do everything I can to push back at the socialists, take care of my family, and return our country to it's conservative core values. Understandably, I may be pissing in the wind, but I am tired of trying to just prepare myself and watch the country go to hell.

Is there any recommended reading, or study material? I am a bit past joining the Marines or Seals, but I would like to see us arrive at some point where we all have plans to protect our families and what is left of our Republic.

I've been thinking about what's going on in Iran and I conclude that we will not know what form our revolution will take untill it happens. I do think we should organize now while we can. I think you'll like Lights Out. I'm picky about what I read and while I found it excessively PC I had a hard time going to bed the night I started it. It held my interest. And it's free!

It is also on my CD as is Civil War II that CPO TEd noted. These reads I have on there make up a small portion of the total info.

I have tried to find good sources that are not excessively boring and most mil manuals are exceptionally boring with loads of useless info.

The CD I have is a compilation of info I found both informative and easy to read, as this sort of thing goes. It is very much something I have put together, both for myself but moreso for others with now clue who want to learn.
The survival portion is outstanding, I think.
Some of the stuff about tactics is pretty damn good too.

Don't take any of it 100% however.
I have found a few flaws in the info, as always. Common sense should always rule.

It is pretty damn good stuff though - I've been adding to it for about 4-5 years now and I am pretty discerning about what I add to it.

One thing we need on our side would be someone that is good with propaganda. Someone that can dig up some good dirt on our ememy and use it against them. You know like a picture of someone from PETA eating a big greasy cheeseburger. The major setback is most of the media is on there side.

No matter what angle we use we must have unity and organization. Depending on your location this could be very difficult. Socal, NYC area, mass., conn will be more difficult than rural areas.
In rural areas the enemy is known, easy to spot and outnumbered.
But a lot can change when the modern convieniences are taken away. No running water and no electric will make a lot of things turn around quick. How many can make it without them? How much wild game will be around when everyone is hunting for a meal? Where I live we'll have to take turns guarding the cattle, or we won't have any.
It will take skills, knowledge, unity and determination to make through what's coming. A lot of preparation will help too.

Small gardens, not too big, 'cause then you're at Mother Natures mercy. You can water and tend to smaller gardens better. Oh, and if ya can, grow heirlooms, you can save the seeds.
Fruit trees, plants, etc.
Chickens, pigs, the kinds of livestock that one can tend to without having to hire help.

Education, not of the masses, but "like-minded" people.

If you take from, or injure, those who are neutral you will move them to the other side.
Let our enemies do that. They likely will.

Another option is to do things to make it appear it is the other side who is inflicting hardships upon them.

I plan on being down on my brother in laws very remote farm in S.E. Ohio. 140 acres, completely surrounded by big hills and total tree cover. Fully enclosed all weather deer stands that surround the perimeter, creek, livestock, wood burning furnace. Only 1 very small dirt road in and out. You either have to know where to find this place or you got extremely lucky and stumbled upon it. Either way, once you're on the property, you're completely surrounded. A total of 12 Adult family members armed to the teeth.
