Default NoDak Spud receivers....

I building on a NoDak Spud for the first time. It claims "fully heat treated". Does that mean I don't have to heat treat the ejector or firing group holes?

You shouldn't have to do any heat treating to a 100% receiver you've purchased - ever.

Heat treating is only done when you bend your own flat.

Nodak has the best quality IMO. I had an Ohio Rapid Fire receiver a few months back and they heat treated the areas with a torch.
It looked a tapco flat job with a stamp.

Anyhow, what they said. DCI are good to go out of the box.

Yeah, they are sweet. I built my first three on bent flats. I made a lot of mistakes, smashed a lot of ugly rivets before getting things right.

I rebuilt one gun... my first... because it wasn't cycling quite right. This one came out perfect. All rivets came out perfect! The other two are not quite perfect, but I am the only one who notices the imperfections. Now I am ready to blast and park all three.
