With the all the SAR's, WASR's and Romy G builds out there and the fact that these stocks have all but dried up. Does one believe that these will be highly sought after in the future? Please serious comments only. Thanks.

those stocks were in hot demand shortly after the 94 ban ended, as that was the most easiest way to install a folding stock on a AK........everybody that wanted one got them, so I don't believe that stock will be any kind of "hot item".
I never did care for those mono-strut side folders, they suck on getting any cheek to stock weld.

I'm rather fond of the East German, which the Romanians copied.

I don't really know about being highly sought after, but being that alot of people had purchased these after the 94 ban, and would be safe to say that alot of these same people that purchased these SF stocks didn't like them after the installment/test run, took them off and either sold them, or threw them into the back of the closet to sell them or use them for barter at a later date in time.
Ckrockets,...... am I detecting a group buy on a small lot of these,....maybe testing the waters to see if investing in a dozen or so,....could be a worth while investment? LOL Well,....If you do get a few more than you need,......PM me! I'll be glad to pick up one more from you. I didn't like-em in the beginning, but after some quality range time with a few builds, they kinda grew on me. Get-em while you still can,.... cause the way things are lookin,.."who knows what tommorrow will bring," will be a phrase of the past. We'll already know what it brought. Ken in Pa. |

i think the stock works great on a 74. because there is less recoil follow up shots aren't a problem. uncomfortable to shoot on the 47. it does make both guns much more portable. i have a tantal with one of course, a sar2 with one, and i keep one installed or ready for my beater wasr for portability.

I bought one of those a few years ago.
Didn't care for it and it now resides in a box somewhere. I doubt they'll ever be worth more than what they are today. IMHO, if there is another ban, it will likely require existing firearms to be registered under NFA, so the ability to quickly add a folding stock to make it "preban" will not be an issue.

I like mine. I wouldn't part with it. Too useful for certain applications.
