Default quick magazine question-need help

I bought bunch of used Yugo m-70 mags thats hold the bolt open on the last round- while ago.

Went through them to make sure that they all function correctly.

3 of them would do this EVERY TIME with different ammo-

on about 5-6 rounds left on the mag, bolt would JAM, and the round that is supposed to be fed into the chamber is cockeyed, and does not feed properly..it just sits there, crooked with the bullet touching the chamber opening's ring

my friend suggested that the spring is the problem.

what do you guys think?
thanks

could be the spring, take the spring out and replace it with one of the others that work.that will tell ya if you need to replace the springs.other than that, might be the mag tang is worn and makes the mags sit low,or just different mag fit in weapon.also try holding/pulling the magazine backwards,ie pulling back towards you when firing.if it stops jamming then the mag is sitting low in the well.if no difference, then it could be spring is weak.just a couple thoughts.are they hollow points.

Does it matter that the spring is meant for a Yugo hold -hold bolt open magazine? or all springs are the same

Thats the true genius of the design and why it remains ubiquitous to this day.
