I had a chance to interview Rick DeMilt of FNH-USA for a radio segment on FN's 5.7x28mm cartridge and what the anti-gunners are up to.

Whether you like this small round or not, it's an interesting subject, especially in light of what may be coming down the road politically....he talks at length at
what the future might hold regarding gun bans....

No kidding. Back in the 90s even America's Most Wanted made a few comments about hunting rifles being dangerous in teh right hands.

Point being that people can die by the use of ANY weapon,including toilet paper!

ANY FIREARM IS DANGEROUS IF MISUSED.

The anti-gunners don't understand that our founding fathers WANTED us to have these rifles and handguns.

I am sure that my ancestor (distantly related to Jefferson) didn't sit in his living room thinking "hey, if someone ever invents some self loading rifle that uses self-contained cartridges, we must control them".

Hell no, he probably thought "All citizens can have what the government and military can have, to resist any and all tyranny."

Naturally he never considered nukes...but even small howitzers/cannons were civilian owned then.
