Again, not to insult any AK purists, but any recommendations for a replacement pistol grip? This thing is tiny. I've seen the Leapers with finger grooves and Tapco's SAW pistol grip and a few that were in the $50+ range. I'm 5'7", med-average hands, I suppose, but again, this stock pistol grip is too tiny. If the average Russian man has hands that would fit this grip, I'm goin' to Russia for a bride!

Try the full size wood "I" grip from a Hungarian rifle, Ironwood makes a US made version. Fits my large mitts well.

I have a saw grip on a non matching Romy underfoler and it's an improvement. I got it in one of those compliance packs so I used it. AK's and AR's are like JEEPs, OK stock or modified.

I've heard good things about the SAW grip, but I bought a Leapers and it was a lot better than the stock grip on my SAR-1. I have big hands so the stock grip really sucked. My AMD-65 grips aren't great either, but I am not changing them out.

gunthings.com has a really nice fat wood grip (copy of early Yugo RPK grip) for $21 looks good and very comfortable, I personally can't stand the SAW grips as made by TAPCO but thats just me, the Command Arms grip SB linked is my favorite for modern the Gunthings grip is the one for a traditional look...

I put an AR 15 A2 PG on my Romy. Nice functional grip and a US part to boot. I don't tell anyone though as they will start calling BS on me and saying it won't fit, you have to jury rig it , it will work loose, be loose,,,, blah blah blah.
Being a WECSOG Alumni and a Post Grad degree in Dremelology helps.

Thanks for the link...... HOWEVER I was under the impresion that it was a USA part. Why replace a yugo part with a non compliant yugo look alike?
