An open letter to the gun community from HK’s marketing department: In a world of compromises, some people put the bullets in the magazine backwards…But it doesn’t matter, because our gun is on the cover of the Rainbow Six video games. Look how cool that SEAL coming out of the water looks… If you buy a $2,000 SOCOM, you will be that cool of an operator too. And chicks will dig you.

At HK, we stuck a piston on an AR15, just like a bunch of other companies have done, dating back to about 1969. However ours is better, because we refuse to sell it to civilians. Because you suck, and we hate you.

Our XM8 is the greatest rifle ever developed. It may melt, and it doesn’t fit any accessories known to man, but that is your fault. If you were a real operator, you would love it. Once again, look at Rainbow Six, that G36 sure is cool isn’t it? Yeah, you know you want one.And by the way, check out our new HK45. We decided that humans don’t need to release the magazine with their thumbs. If you were a really manly teutonic operator, you would be able to reach the controls. Plus we’ve fired 100,000,000 rounds through one with zero malfunctions, and that was while it was buried in a lake of molten lava, on the moon. If you don’t believe us, it is because you aren’t a real operator.

By the way, our cheap, mass-produced, stamped sheet metal guns like the G3 and MP5 are the bestest things ever, and totally worth asinine scalpers prices, but note that cheap, mass-produced, stamped sheet metal guns from other countries are commie garbage. Not that it matters, because you’re civilians, so we won’t sell them to you anyway. Because you suck, and we hate you, but we know you’ll be back. We can beat you down like a trailer park wife, but you’ll come back, you always do.

I have two guys that I work with that have been to the HK armorer’s school. If you think I’m biased, you should talk to them. They especially love working with the Germans. One fellow was yelled at because he had two magazines clamped together on his MP5, because “NEIN! That is not the H und K way!” Even though he had bought the mag clamp from HK. When you ask why the original MP5 doesn’t have a last shot bolt hold open, they’ll yell at you and say, “NEIN! Why would you want your enemy to know your gun is empty!” Hell, Hans, I just want to know when my gun is empty!

in every config. and they will most likely all outshoot an hk for accuracy.

We all have opinions, I agree with Mr. avtomatika on this one. I've worked on several G36's converted SL8's and owned a 91 and 93. I don't have any desire to deal with the arrogant bastards again. Just my 02.

Never heard anyone say an HK is junk in any sort of quality or function, they are great guns, but the cost of getting one in this country is really high due to import
costs and mark ups. I can remember a german lady telling me she didn't want
me to order the grills for her 5 series bmer because she was going to a wedding
that week in germany. She bought the 2 grills for 6 bucks apiece walk in price
at a dealer. My cost at the time was 52.00 apiece, that's a lot of mark up.

Bigwheel, one mans junk is another mans treasure. If you like 'em you like 'em. I don't care one way or another. I have seen issues with the G36 MELTING under full auto from some LEO buds. They abandoned them for Colts. Sounds like junk to me. I was talking to a friend yesterday who is having probs with his Socom. I had issues with one of my rifles. So speaking from a hands on perspective, H&K is as capable of making crap as anyone else.

I think what surprises me the most is some of you guys love to bash Kalifornia for it's gun laws but when a big gun manufacturer like H&K decides to stop selling on the civilian market, you still treat them like gods because they are H & fucking K! By the way, Smith and Wesson and Colt have both screwed over the U.S. civilian market as well.

ricky, don't care about them one way or the other, I remember the styer AUG's
were 300.00 and the week after the imports stopped they were 1600.00 and
then 2400.00 , was still a 300.00 gun, good or bad, that was my only point.

IIRC, S & W was under some Brit bunch of clowns management when they screwed over American gun owners/buyers. Since they were sold back to Americans, they have not acted as if they didn't really like or want to sell firearms, to the best of my knowledge.

Hell, ive got no probs that HK makes some halfway descent junk, ive got a couple P7M8 HK's.

Absolutely correct Mitch, but there are too many choices out there for gun owners to kiss anyones ass, even S&W or the revered Colt. When I see a full page apology in Guns and Ammo from any of those guys saying they made a mistake selling out, I'll jump in line for their products. Until then there are too many manufacturers that still give a shit about us, and they get my wampum.

haha, not bad. Staying about 185 but i replaced alot of fat with muscle. Going to start stricter dieting soon, mainly been working on getting stronger up until now. Its been working

Guy suggested using my middle finger instead of my thumb...and as I reached for my credit card went "Oooo...me likey." Ended up buying two more, and as soon as my agency approves the HK45 I'll be buying that one.

Overpriced? Yes. Tax deductable and worth it? Fuck yeah.
