MKE - MP5 SD Anyone heard of these?

Just saw an ad in this months rag and a dealer here is selling HK MP5's including my all time favourite SD version. Made by a company called MKE...Johnny Turks by the looks of it.

Anyone seen or even heard of these before?

MKE is an HK licensee. They have produced various HK rifles and SMGs for many years.

Pakistan also has an HK License POF. But the German is what we sell to LEO.

So do you think that the MKE quality be as happening as on the German built guns?

Ex I would think it would be on a very even Par. Actually the POF 30 Rd. Curved MP5 Mags were every bit as good as the German HK Mags. Slight differences in the quality of other MP5 parts with regard to weld quality could be discerned in the POF parts but still quality and function were there. I really have not seen the quality of the Turk Parts but you should be good to go if the price is better than German HK.
