Need a jig in middle Ga

Anyone in mid Ga have a jig I could rent for a weeked. I have about 6 flats to build one is a tantal. So I would perfer an ak builder jig because that is my brand of flats, and i need top rails to. I figure $50 + deposit is fair for a weeked. Would drive 100 miles to pick up.

good luck getting a response, If ya do I am going to start the same thread except for change it to Florida. I feel your pain, I also am in need of a jig to bend a few flats. I am thinking about just chalking it up, getting an AK-builder jig and selling it down the road. I hear they sell for damn close to what you bought 'em for but you would have to go through all that hassle. I hope this works out for you.

Where in Middle Georgia, it appears I am not gonna be able to do a build party in FL - the misses has too much prepaid fun planned.

But middle GA I will be in the 5,6 and then 17th.

Maybe AMD is up to a daytrip? or maybe one of the other guys from the FL thread, I have no probs dumping it off for a week, then collecting it up on my way back to the aeropuerto...

Keep in mind that the jig must be modified in order to bend a Tantal flat. Be sure that who ever you borrow the jig from has already modified it or is going to be OK with you grinding on his jig.

I live In Eastman it is about 50 miles south of macon. I have a press and a well stocked shop. I would definatly not modify a jig for a tantal without the owners permission, but thanks for pointing that out.

Hey I work at Robins AFB just south of Macon. If your gonna Be in town
Mabey we could work somthing out. I drive up there every day. It is about 50 miles. I would probally only need the jig for one day . (6 flats). And I could take off a day to do it. Someone said $ not suppoed to change hands I don't know but $, drill bits( Cobalt',got plenty ) Or some ammo. your choice. Let me know.

I don't tink I would be up to a daytrip that far, but thanks for remembering me Mandaree. RokkyT and I are gonna get a jig and we are on for our Florida build party, we may even have to use our AK's to get the jig; not really but we will have a jig. I think I will post a thread just like this one.

Thats crazy my father in law works at Warner Robins too. Not sure I want my jog modified though - or actually Comike's jig, thats the one I just bought from him.

And thats cool AMD - wish we could have met though, could have snapped some pics of filers in their natural habitat.

Yeah they let you down mandaree. We wouldn't do that to you over in florida. Hope you enjoy your vacation here. The weather is looking pretty nice right about now.

Hey Mandaree there ain't no reason to be upset I just asked some poeple at work and they said they would go in on a jig. That way I don't have to get a seperate jig for my tantal. I really appreciate the offer but this probally works out best. No hard feelings from double tap.
