Since the ban is dead, whats the chances of us AK74 owners getting a drum mag, or other high-cap mag?
Is it possible for K-Var to get Quad Stacked mags? |

No drums that I'm aware of (except for a few prototypes) but there is a sweet quad-stack polymer 60rd 5.45 mag for the AN-94 I'd love to get my hands on! Legal here (now) but non-exportable by Russia, here's hoping a few enterprising Russian capitalists manage to sneak a few in!

if they do get some in, which i'm kinda doubtful, don't expect it to be cheap........I'm guessing that something like that would easily be in the c note range maybe a little less.

So what does it take to manufacture hi capacity magazines?
Is it in any way regulated by the good ol' BATFE? If someone on this or the other boards could produce a reliable quad stack design they'd make MONEY... so what's stoppin' anyone? |

K-var could do it. They have polymer molding equipment and obvious access to raw materials. They already made stock sets, so this is not much different.
I don't know how the quaddie works, but if someone with mfg. experience got a hold of one, it could be reverse engineered quickly. --Fargo007 |
