Well Im not too concerned about a folding stock, or a bayonet. I'd like to have a threaded muzzle though and I'm sure that can be addressed. I was really just wanting to know if they were any good.

Yeah I know what ya mean. I have a wasr10hicap and the finish on it is rough, also not the most accurate AK I have. I do want a '74 someday, but Id like a little nicer one.

I just saw those advertised yesterday, and i was wondering the same thing. if they're reliable, 300 is a pretty good price for a 74.

Why don't you buy the lo-cap version with PG for $200.00 and open the magwell yourself.
Or pick up one of the many Exc Bulgy AK74 kits and build your own. |

well I've never seen any lo-cap's in 5.45 before. Also I dont know how to convert them to hi-cap.
I've been wanting to build one for a while but I have yet to find good enough info about the riveting process. got any good links? |

Century has lo-cap WASR 2 and 3 rifles. If its like the .30 cal. WASR, you just need to open up the magwell like century does so it will accept double stack mags. Lots of info available on converting lo-cap to hi-cap.
To build your own 5.45 from a kit. Instead of riveting, it is real easy to do a screw build. No need to remove the barrel from the trunion-eliminates headspacing. Search the build it yourself forum, lots of great info there. |
