Scotty do an eBay search for Red Dot Sights. I posted in the Krinkov Forum of a LE Guy I Built for a couple years back. He did a Docter Knock Off/NoDak Piccy Rail and I had a chance to test it. For the money this Company has really Good Red Dots. Also do a Google Search for Clearview Optics. They are from Aisa but I find there stuff much better than the Com Bloc junk out there.

I'll get back to this with a link and they offer a Knock Off that is 100% AimPoint M4 at 1/6th the price.

So for that price . . . a guy should support Tantal and get a year's warranty to boot.

I'm in the same situation with a local that wants to sell me a "new" Kobra that could be new but I have no proof. He took the batteries to use for himself. It seems a little fishy.

Gawd Kernel never clocked it but really a loooong time. And while detail is not quite Aimpoint, Optics and W&E are very precise. Once the word got out to LE that these did everything the higher priced Aimpoint did well the phone rang off the hook.

Do a Google Search for Clearview Optics Singapore. Hey guys even their scopes are Very Nice Quality. Somehow we Americanos get so fixated on brands with a Higher Prices we can't see the forest for the trees.

Man I remember Uncles that were in WWll saying give the Japanese something and they will copy it and do a better job. And time has shown this to be very true. Now it is the rest of Asia that is doing the coping and once again doing a very good job of it indeed.

Besides what do you have in one of these Red Dots maybe a Half A Buck with shipping? eBay is the best source of deals on these items just watch shipping cost. Some might have them for 18 Beans but they want $35.00 Shipping. But if you search eBay and make a conserted effort you'll score a Deal

Oh, I agree some of the copies are high quality for the price. I picked up a green laser sight a few months ago for app $30 shipped, same one that's selling around $100 in the various catalogs right now, copy of the $600 original. Very nice.

However, I was researching the various boards on the aimpoint clones and about the only complaint was battery life. Aimpoint claims an absurdly long battery life, in the thousands of hours. Some have said the clones will drain a battery if left on overnight.
