Default CZ P10: Striker Fired Perfection?

Maybe this is why they're unloading VP9's for hundreds below MSRP. . .

Better trigger than a PPQ is a tall claim, going to wait for further reviews to see if there is any merit in that statement. $500 MSRP should put it around 400-450 range after the initial import hype has died down, will probably scoop one up then if it is everything MAC says it is.

If it's as good as advertised, I will venture back into the plastic striker-fired world. Being a CZ, I have full confidence it will be as good as advertised

"Striker fired perfection" is an oxymoron.

Yup and I liked the way those looked way more than this I wish they just tried to remake the 100 models instead of this.

Zero interest. I already have striker fired perfection and it's called the P7.

If closer to $400 after initial demand dies down, I would be interested.

But I'll wait for Nut'N Fancy to do a 75 minute review on it first. Lol

As interesting as the C is and I'm supposing it stands for Compact, I'll also be interested in the standard P-10. I'm guessing it will have approximately a 4.5" barrel and same capacity as the P-09 (19+1).

Also curious if there will be a sub-compact (P-10SC) at some point.

No pistol is perfect for everybody.

It's subjective.

I've been through some pistols. I'd liken myself to a back alley pistol whore at one point because I went through them so fast.

M&P 9mm
M&P 45
M&P Shield
Tanfoglio 9mm
Tanfoglio .40
CZ P07 9mm
CZ 75 9mm
Walther PPQ
Glock 43
Glock 21
Glock 17
Taurus Ultra Lite
Beretta 92FS
Beretta 92 G
HK VP9

Just to end up with a "ol' work horse" Glock 19 in my IWB Holster. I've owned the pistol the longest. Shoot it the best. Mags are inexpensive. No hangups with draws and using it (reloads and drills).

I'm done chasing perfection...

The Canik Elite has the same trigger as the PPQ from what I read.
Very Nice

Pretty much the same here. My first poly pistol was a Glock of coarse, carried it for a few years. Then to several Sig Sauers, then a few Walthers, then a few HKs, then a couple Rugers. Now 20 years later I'm back carrying a G26.

This P-10c looks good and probably like to get one but highly doubt it will replace the G26.

Funny how that works.

I always tell new shooters to go to a pistol rental range and try as many different pistols as they can. Find that one that fits them and they shoot well... and stick with it.

FYI, it is only PSA that I have seen have great deals on VP9s. All the local shops still have the regular prices. A quick search online shows me most online retailers have a price of $5xx for the entry VP9. Don't see any blowouts other than PSA Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal.

LGS' in my area are trying to sell them for $550. Seems like they aren't selling well. Prices are on par with Glocks.

I tried following the masses for that one ^^^ too. After tons of rounds of brass to the face even after trying multiple extractors and ejectors and even polishing extractors with no improvement in results, it was time to move on. FNS-9 in striker and P2000 in hammer are my preferred carry items nowadays.

See, that's the thing. I do not have the problem.

Although mine is a very early Gen 3, as it doesn't have the additional pin for the locking block or any btf issues.

So once again, it's all experience and preference.

That's not to say I haven't seen Glock problems first hand. My buddy has a Gen4 that had the btf issue. It was eventually remedied through Glock warranty, but was still very frustrating for him.

Ok only Grabagun and PSA had the Black Friday deal on the VP9. Wouldn't consider that as the market blowing these out the door.

Since introduction it has steadily decreased in price. Most do. VP9 has dropped drastically though.
