Default Dedicated PTR-91/C308/CETME/HK 91 pics and info thread, list of links in OP

Hey guys, lots of threads with great pics and info on these rifles, but they are scattered everywhere, don't think we are getting our own sub-forum so decided maybe a dedicated thread for both pics and any info on parts, mods etc. might be very useful and easy to find, I asked Nails if that was okay and he said go for it so here it is, roller-locked badassery at it's finest!

I'll be doing a review type post as soon as the snow melts enough to get out and shoot, almost there now, with detailed pics of our new PTR GI and some mods and add-on parts, please feel free to add your own too.

Took a quickie shot or two in the meantime, have already added bayo adapter from RTG and picked up an HK33 bayonet from DSA. Sling is actually an EG AK sling I added an HK hook to. Also picked up a heavy buffer from HK parts.net, but haven't installed that yet.

Here's one of the first two Cetme's I built, the stock is a 3 piece adjustable aluminum design and the handguard is aluminum which attaches to a trunnion extension. The AR grip attaches to the lower via a home made adapter. The cocking tube is modified to lock back in the downward position to minimize interference with the scope.

Here's another pair, the bottom Zebra Cetme was the other "first" one built, the top one came a bit later and shoots 7.62x39 trough a modified RPK barrel.

There are a few more in between but my last Cetme I call the PSG1ish. It's patterned after the early wood stocked HK PSG1 rifles. The stocks are Hickory, the barrel is turned from a McGowen blank which I chamber fluted. All of the cool stuff including the forward assist, stiffening and pic rails and the downward locking cocking tube were made in my shop.

Well It's about time the Roller Delayed/Locked Guns received some respect.

I will start off with an old shot of my Roller collection from 2008, then work my way forward.

Every gun collector I know started off from humble beginnings. For me it was my Mother's Brother (Uncle Bob) God bless his soul. For a Man who was cut down with polio at an early age (12) and spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair He did mighty things. My Uncle had a wonderful military surplus Gun collection that always fascinated me as a young Boy. He not only inspired me but passed along 3 rifles (and many books) to me before his passing in 1996. So those 3 rifles were my start, everything else was on me.

I went into academy today and noticed a c308 in the rack, I had a 200$ gift card in my wallet so I figured wth lets roll the dice and get it. I am actually about to go back to work for 2 weeks (oil field) but when I get back I will take some pics out at the range and post back with how it shoots. Nice to see a dedicated thread

I almost forgot about this one, a Cetme in .243win with a short stroke gas system that eliminates the need for chamber flutes.
