Your web-site shows the kit at $219.00 why are these $ 249.00 , both kits are missing the barrels, why the differance in price for the same kit.

We will have our barrels in May. IMI barrels are avail from Blackthorneproducts.com you can also find guys on the net selling there GM barrels.

That is what I did. I now have a 16" IMI barrel and I up graded to the bolt with the spring on the firing pin. Someday I hope to have this thing done.

I gave $195.00 for mine. It is a IMI with nothing cut yet. No gas port, no hand guard retainer sloot, no extractor cut, and no gas block pin cuts. It is chrome lined and hammer forged. The barrel is also brand new. It is also 16" and not the 18" type that comes with kits. I just like the 16" look better on an AR.

Hmmm why not just go with the complete package...

Unless one wants to sell barrels later at a premium, making the "kit" cost higher than one you can get now...

Just rambling thoughts.

For me 2 reasons.

1) When I build it I can say I did it and also it is they way I want it built.
2) Why buy one built just to switch to the IMI barrel.

I have also heard bad things about the Century ones already. I heard of one that was sent back already. Mine will be all IMI except the receiver. I want to park it then duracoat it. Should look nice when done, I hope.
