Default Best Red Loctite For Screw Build

Would it be better to use a high temperature Red Loctite like 272 or 262 rated to 450 degrees for a screw build? Thank you very much in advance for any information.

Note that there is more than one type of "red loctite". Each variation of Loctite has different characteristics. After doing a little research (darn little), I would think we would want to be using the 2760 (highest strength / vibration resistant / -65°F to 300°F).

PS: For more info see the Loctite Catalog

When I was doing screw builds I used Loctite RED 271 - haven't had one wiggle loose yet.

I like 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Threadlocker 3496
Permanent, low viscosity. High breakaway, high prevailing torque.

Very good stuff, I have yet to have a problem w/ it.
