I know one for sale from someone I know. Just wanted to spread the word as they sort of hard to find.

These are high on cool factor, but I just don't know if it is practical on a semi auto rifle, considering the weight and size of a loaded mag. A full auto rifle is a different story. Anybody know what a loaded 100 rd drum weighs?
![]() ps. figured this wasn't trolling since it isn't for sale here and the item already sold. Very quickly i might add. |

Oh yea... its just something cool to have. Not very practical. I would bet it is something like 10 pounds when loaded. I have a 75 rounder that feels like 6-7.
I guess it has application in some sort of stationary tripod set up. Like for Deer hunting in a blind... where the Deer flock up...

only real use i see is for FA or in a shtf situation, which likely wont happen. but if it does, i will be very happy to have my 125$ 100 rounder

Sold mine a while ago for the same reasons, not practical. and it costs $16 to feed, once!
My 30rders are just fine. |

I found a 100rder AND a 75 at the gunshow for $200.
Sold the 100 for $200 and kept the free 75 rounder. A full one does tame the recoil!

My son and I like the drum because it allows us to get lower to the ground when shooting prone. The 30 rounders force you to lay high on the elbows, which gets uncomfortable.
