That's a used milled receiver arsenal. New stamped models are going for about $750.
Go look on gunbroker under arsenal SAM. You will find that the milled arsenals are artificially priced high right now since they're only building stamped receiver models. If I knew where you lived, I'd try to find it and purchase it before you. But I'll be a nice guy. It sounds like a nice price if it's not damaged or a lemon. You can always sell it for a profit if it doesn't work out. Just go for it. |

If it's a milled receiver 223Rem chambered Bulgarian, it's worth every bit of $525. I passed on one when they were available new for $550 and I've been kicking myself ever since. Buy it. If you decide you don't want it, you can sell it for a profit like bl4ckd0g said. Post a picture if you buy it.

Some of the milled receivers Arsenal used were US made but they used Bulgarian forgings for the receivers. Some of the milled receivers are Bulgarian made but I'm not sure any of the 5.56 milled ones were.

If you find out that the receiver is US made, then you can do anything to the rifle w/o worrying about that insipid ATF 922 regulation.
This means you can put on a part from any country. Just ask any Saiga owner (like me). |

Sorry man....I went back to hopefully pick it up and it was gone. Somebody jumped on it. I was picking up a pistol that day so my $$ was tied up on that. A lot of stuff runs through that shop so I'll keep my eyes open. If not for me, I'll post any good deals I come across. Thanks for the replies everyone. -HG
