Dose anyone know anything about the grenade launchers that fit the ak. I would like to make a 37mm up that looks right and not the 203 I see sold ever where. Any info would be great. Chris

Hey Chris,
Go to www.37mm.com and ask the guys there. Great group BTW. ETCETERA (No website) makes an AK mount for the 37mm launcher. |

I don't think the Russian style under barrel grenade launchers will fit the AKM or the milled AK47.They will fit the AK74 and the Ak100 series and the Bulgarian AK's that have the vertical gas blocks but not the barrels that have angled gas blocks. Not that you'll be able to get a Russian grenade launcher but just for reference.

Chances are you'll have to VISMOD a 37mm breechloader to look 'close' to the 40mm GP25 muzzleloader. This page is pretty good for reference: http://club.guns.ru/eng/gp25.html |

USA MARKET: After the examination of GP-30 by the American ATF, they managed to recognise the front part of trigger mechanism as being a RECEIVER. On these grounds from 15.10.04 the deactivated GP-30 grenade launcher has been restricted from importation into the US for commercial sale/purchase |

This guy, LawDog205, grafted a 37mm onto an AK

allesennogwat, those links are great but how does one go about ordering stuff from them? I am not intersted in the launcher but the mags are nice. Is it somthing that can be done? Also how much does it cost to ship something from overseas?

Importing any firearm parts requires a permit. The only exception I know is non-military sporting scopes. It doesn't matter if the parts are reatricted or not or for what kind of firearm they fit.
