We are waiting on a formality to be completed in the next week so. When it does there will be a $199.00 special on the conversion kits. Another option being discussed is buying it at regular price and get a M4 mag adapter or stock adapter free. Still working out the details.

Well, this appears to be what I would want. I have at least one ,223 Saiga that I would dedicate to the adapter to see how it functions.

Default which 223 platform?

Is this AK(M) only?

Is this Saiga only?

Is this VEPR squareback compatible?

Also what advantage or difference does your M4 stock adapter offer over the Rifle Dynamics adapter?

Thanks
MJ

Which product? Mag adapter, stock adapter or conversion?

The stock adapter will work in stamped receivers in the AK47/74 family. Including Vepr. It's main feature benefit it is solid on piece. It will not shear the mounting screws and in most rifles users can still use the iron sights.

The adapter and conversion will work on Saiga, Veprs and others. We have PAP M85s and WASR rifles with the products as well. In the video of the conversion that is a Vepr AK74 5.45x39 being used. So it is not just 5.56/.223.

Are you speaking of the stock adapter or the magwell adapter?

Either... they both work on the same feed geometry. Both the Adapter and Conversion have been used on 5.45, 5.56 and 7.62x39 AK rifles. If there is an AR15 mag that chambers it with the right installation and bullet guide it's very versatile.

Default More specific

OK,
I have a VEPR Square Back 223 16".

I now have read up on the "M4 Stock adapter" and understand the difference.

For the mag well conversion: It looks like you can put your adapter in and then use Magpul mags for the 223 versions.

1 Does it need a bullet guide?
2 If a bullet guide is already installed will your adapter still work?
3 What about removing it and then switching back to AK mags?
4 Any maintenance needed?

You need a Y/T video for install or have Military Arms Channel do a review/install of one. Seeing is buying.

Now I know you are not sitting around waiting for suggestions from members.
But if you can get a install video out for the magwell conversion that would be great.

The stock adapter should be straight forward enough that most AK people can understand the idea. But a install vid never hurts.

Thanks
MJ

1) Some AKs do and some don't. Contrary to popular belief the AK is not a perfect animal. If it were they'd all be the same specification. That's just not reality. Tolerances can skew from one rifle to the next on the same production line let alone across variations. So while some don't there are just as many that do.

2) Either with or without is fine. Both work.

3)Our M4 conversion is bolt on and can be reversed. The adapter version can be removed and AK mags still used.

4) No more maintenance over what one would already do.

Maybe one day we'll have time to shoot install videos or a customer can do it with our input. We'd be happy to assist them with product.

We have contacted plouffedaddy to do a review but he is 2+ months out. He seems to be one of the best reviewers and a straight forward shooter.

Will need to open up the trunnion just wide enough to fit the mag and two holes for the mounting hardware.

Would this work on the SLR-106 pistols?

Will need to open up the trunnion just wide enough to fit the mag and two holes for the mounting hardware.

Any install info with the products?

Any additional hardware/tools needed or recommeded for the installs? Or will a machine shop be needed for the magwell conversion?

Mike

Yes it does work with the SLR106 line.

The Adapter and Conversion are two different animal all together. The adapter mimics an AK magazine. IT does require the trunnion to be opened up but there is no hardware to mount. It "Rock and Locks" in.

The install can be dome by dremel and a steady hand or a machine shop can do it nice, clean and faster.

Both come with install sheets.

AK-ula.... As soon as we get in the office late Friday/early Saturday I'll get you an update. Yesterday we pack and shipped a ton of orders and still have a lot more to go. Our goal is to have every order out and shipped by Saturday.

LORD Ak-47 The sale is going to end the first week of December, it may change. Waiting on management to make up our minds.
