Can you guy's tell me how rare they are to find? And how they compare to the Mak 90's? And how much you would pay for one?

Couldn't put a number on the matter, however, the NHM 90's are more rare. I see them or have seen them in years past, on occasion for sale at larger Fun Shows. Just like the Norinco Hunters, they are a rifle type that I would purchase if I had the Geld. If you are in striking distance of acquiring one for a fairly reasonable price, then congratulations! If not, you can still find then, although not like Mak 90's.

They are more scarce than the MAK but I don't *think* they are worth a whole lot more. I don't think most people like a chi-com gun in a NATO caliber, I don't. Nothing wrong with a NHM 90 but I've always looked over them myself.

Can you tell me what the differences are between the Nhm90 and the Mak90?

Im not a hundred percent but from what i understand The nhm 90 were mostly 84-s that got caught in customs when the ban was enacted . In order to get them to the dealers they had to neuter them and put butthole stocks on them. I had one and it had the 84-s marking xxxx'ed out and nhm electro pencilled on it. Mine had a straight cut reciever and a thread protector welded on. The only thing missing was the bayo lug that they shaved off . I converted mine back to 84-s status. It cost me a little money but I ended up selling it for 950 with around 750 into the rifle. I really like that rifle and it was a awesome shooter. The only downfall is the damn mags being worth their weight in gold.

^ What he said.

Also, I thought NHM 90's were all 5.56x45 but after snooping the web this evening, I've learned they were 7.62x39 too!

Someone with real knowledge can correct me, but it looks like the NHM was the precursor to the MAK.

I have one. Had converted it, but it currently sits in its original factory configuration. I'm looking to sell it, just haven't advertised yet. I have also seen locally a nhm 90 that was made at factory /56\. Hate myself for not buying it.
