Default Norinco side folder HELP

Just found 1 more Norinco Mak 90 stamped receiver straight cut.
$300.00 jumped on it.
I wound like to put a sidefolding stock on this one like the ones that come from Arsenal can this be done and what do I have to do is there any other options like maybe a triangular folding stock like the ones seen on Russian AKs.
All help is appreciated.
Jack

No personal experience, but Ace says their receiver block fits the MAK 90. I considered looking into it, but decided to just put on a traditional wooden buttstock/grip. I don't know about fitment as the MAK 90 receiver is 1.6mm thick instead of the typical 1mm. Either way, it's not a cheap route to take.

You could probably make just about any side folder made for a stamped receiver work if you're willing/able to take the time to fit it since the receiver opening is slightly smaller than the 1mm stamped AK's.

And where did you find that deal? Great price, so as they say 'pics or it didn't happen'

Why don't you try and trade someone for a Saiga? It would be an easier and more correct rifle to put the sidefolder on.

I had the correct Chinese Type 56-2 side folder on the Marketplace for a while and had lots of interest, then I posted pics and nothing. It's flawless which is what puzzles me. Maybe I was asking too much, but I know these things are pretty rare.

A triangle sidefolder would require removing the existing rivets., welding up the old rivet holes., thin the Bulgy trunnion. Cut the receiver for the rear trunnion & latch., dill the front of the receiver & front trunnion for the pivot and latch etc., Stock assembly is $195-$275.
Or are you talking drop in stocks etc. Dunno what you are referring too. Pics are helpful.

That is not a triangle sidefolder. If it did not have a stabilizing tray., it is likely a Romanian wire sidefolder. Needs thinned to fit the narrower interior of the Chinese receiver and the tang screw placement is not the same as euro.
