TWO DAYS OF SHOOTING! TWO VENUES!!
double your ammunition usage...double your fun! more camping, more vendors for a larger gunshow, more food, more cars and trucks to shoot up, more eeevil communist appliances to blast at and more time to meet all of your friends from the internet firearm boards! we'll be at snode's farm again and we'll be at jack black's farm (this was site of last fall's invitaional "MINIFEST I, THE TEST DRIVE" shoot). announcements will be up shortly. this is just a blurb to let you know that it's time to circle june 25 and 26 on your calender and to start making plans to get to n.e. ohio! |

That sounds like a blast. Anyone leaving from PA? I'll start thinking up an excuse to tell the wife.

If there are any Texans looking to "road trip" it to the Mecca for all gun enthusiasts, let's talk turkey and logistics.

Color me there, yo. Last year was great! I rode the bike, but kind of regretted not being able to haul home any of Dan's ammo. There must be a way...

Great! I've got the gas money and half a pup tent but I do snore really loud after drinking too much beer. Anyone need a co-pilot?

Hey nobody said there was a video of the event!!!! Sheesh..I stumbled upon it and downloaded the 5-7 part sections. My 'player' is giving me BIGtime heartbreak but I managed to atleast get a feel for what goes on there. I know NOW- I need a better pc..a belt fed gun!..and that peerdy Amana upright, fridge/freezer there on the left...yeah, that's the one there...with a thousand holes in it.
![]() Plez re-post the get-together as it nears. I'd forget to load my rifle on the 1st day of deer season without a wake-up nudge. |

Sure enough... Byron, you'll have to stop by the penguin tent a little longer this year and shoot a little.

For those of us who are new around here, let's have some details about this event, since I've never heard of it.
![]() Sounds like an excuse to shoot the crap out of helpless appliances and vehicles though. Details, we want details. Edited*** found the Bulletfest video through links at AR15 com. Looks like a blast for machine gun shooters. I have to wonder if it's mostly machine gun guys though, or anyone is welcome. It would suck to drive 7-8 hours, and be looked down upon because we only have semi-autos to shoot. ![]() What else goes on there besides blasting appliances and cars? How many vendors, and any well-known ones? Any special events after the shooting is done, besides massive beer drinking? ![]() I just want to gather as much info as I can, before broaching the idea with the little woman... anybody with a firearm is welcomed. if you have a lorcin, Hi-point you are welcomed...it isn't like knob creek where if you don't have a machine gun you can't get on the firing line, got the money you got a spot to shoot.......nobody is going to look down at you because you have a semi.....and even if a machinegunner looks down on your for that, fuck him......you're there to have fun, not to be impressed by what he has. as for vendors, there was some last year, RED STAR ARMS has a table set up in the barn along with a few other folks, nothing huge but who know about this year, every year this thing gets bigger and bigger, last year the firing line was larger then any knob creek could even muster .......can't remember who it was, but there was ammo sales on the firing line. this shoot blows knob creek out of the water.............I don't know about anybody else, but my idea of having fun is not to stand and watch other folks have fun, when I have basically the same kind of toys, except it doesn't shoot more then 1 round with a pull of the trigger, so therefore I'm not "privilaged" enough to be on the same line with them.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I'll have to talk to the wife about this, and see if I can find someone to come along.

Went to Bulletfest last year for the first time. I'm ony about an hour and a half away. Very impressive firing line and quite a few vendors. I left after about two hours - figuring i had seen just about all there was to see. Some paramedics were on their way in as i was walking out - don't know what that was about.
All the space on the firing line seemed to be spoken for. It was all sectioned off in individual plots, mostly to groups of full auto shooters and/or 1919, 50 cal. I did not see where a semi auto shooter could show up and gain access to the firing line. Is there a special section for individual semi auto shooters? Good event...................Rick |
