Default Dunham's has WASRs

We have a chain sporting goods store near us called Dunham's. I was really surprised to see WASRs in the current flyer and thought people might find the pricing interesting:

WASR with drag style stock - $199.99
WASR-10 Double Stack - $299.99
WASR-10 with CAR style stock - $379.99 (not in MD)
WASR-10 with folding stock - $399.99 (not in MD or MI)
WASR single stack $229.99
WASR .22 cal with Drag style stock - $219.99

I was really surprised (pleasantly) to see the rifle for sale in a mainstream sporting goods store with a number of configuration options.

They also are selling Wolf 7.62x39 for $2.99/box (20 x $2.99 is about $60 bucks for 500 rounds). From the picture it looks like FMJ.

BTW, if this is the wrong forum to post - sorry. I am in no way shape or form affiliated with Dunhams. I just wanted to share the info in case someone has a Dunhams nearby and is interested.

Thats a very good price for them lol i payed about 425 OTD for my GP WASR high cap. I wanted to kick myself in the ass after i saw the prices on the net but oh well i love her. I wish i had a store like that around here, I would'nt mind having a low cap WASR with the drag stock and scope.

The Dunham's in my town has been selling WASR's for about 3 years now. They also sold CETME's and Saiga's when they were still plentiful. Now, aside from WASR's, the sell AR-15 style rifles, double barrel coach guns, SKS's, Mauser's and even had a Barrett (I think) 50 cal. for sale!!

They do have quite a collection. It's kind of hit and miss here. With hunting season coming I'm very curious to see what all they have.

Duhnams has a similar selection here, along with some mitchell's mausers, hi point carbines, and various chineese shotguns. The one sales guy geeked out when I took the dust cover, recoil spring, and bolt off to see if the FCG was US made or not (I couldn't tell) on the single stacks to see how many compliance parts you'd need to legally open up the magwell with a dremel. Anyone know if the crappy wood on those WASR's are US made or not?

I think the wood is original. I could be wrong but I think their compliance parts are gas piston, fcg and pistol grip. You can tell their own U.S. fcg by the "C" that's stamped on them. It's usually stamped at the bottom on the inside of the pistol grip too.

Wow, the dunhams here sucks, 7.62x39 is the equivalent to over $175 a case, the people don't know anything about... well anything in the store at least.

I doubt they will get much of my buisness for much of anything.

they had 7.62x39 wolf ammo for $3.29 a box last time I checked? who cares if the people don't know anything thats why you read up on it before you go and make them look retarded when you get there because you know more about it than they do lol. believe it or not dunhams is the closest gun shop to have a ak around here. plus they have alot of surplus rifles in stock.
