Default DCI/NDS3 economy receiver

I just picked up my NDS3 receiver today. The trunnion holes are almost perfect in the front. The rears are right on.The only thing I noticed that seems a little off is that the selector detent slot stops the selector way above the"nipple" on the selector stop plate.Has anyone else noticed this on their's?

yep, every one of mine that I've reused the kits selector stop on has been that way with the Romy kits the last one I did though I got a brand new selector stop (bulgarian) as the one from the kit was lost... this one had a taller stop tab and that safty selector stops dead in the NDS3 detent........ I just ignor it on the others and slam the safty all the way down anyway, it in no way effects the rifles operation, different countries used diffent selector stop tab heights .......

I'm not picking the receiver apart.I'm actually really happy with it.It seems if the slot was put lower it would have let it go down farther.

Hey, frtyfivsevnty! Are you riveting or screwing? I have two receivers on the way for my Romy kits, and also am in Rochester. Stop by the Dome sale in two weeks and lets see if we can schedule a build party.

from what I have been told -

this "middle" selector stop position is about right on for the FA setting on an original spec gun.
Chinese Mak-90 and Hesse/Vulcan are also like this.

Just ignore it or weld up the detent and mill a new groove with selector stop installed for proper placement on a semi-auto receiver.

I noticed something while I was building with 3 NDS#3's this weekend. the bottom of the receiver was slightly out of square with the sides. Not enough to be a problem, though.

Dwarm,I'm going to be riveting.I just need to find the extra cash to buy the jig.I already have a 20 ton press.I'll be at the show.I'll be wearing a FNFAL shirt.I'll be looking for the guy in the CZ-USA shirt. I might even have to buy a CZ75. Colonel,I also noticed this but it doesn't seem to make a difference on mine either.Everything lined up straight.

Mine was great! I just had to bore the rivet holes out a bit to accept screws. Seems like it was made just for my Romy "G" build.
