Default Royal Tiger Imports has complete AK74 kits in stock!

Looks like the price is BETTER than the Classic Arms AK74 kits as you get a new U.S. made barrel with the kit and a bayonet if the picture is accurate:

https://www.royaltigerimports.com/in...717&id=9615996

It says "Out-Of-Stock" in the title but it is really in stock and will let you order it

If anyone is thinking of building an AK74, NOW is the time! They seem to be going pretty quick.

That's a strange one! Must be a new market Mossberg is getting into.

I have an email into them asking exactly whom the manufacturer of said barrel is. I would also like to know if it is chrome lined.

I will post back once I hear from Royal Tiger.

I've seen their barrels around for a while now. Don't think they are chrome lined. Notice the barrel prices are coming down to pre sandthook.

They have non chrome 5.45 barrels listed as 1/10 twist rate. Shouldn't they be 1/8?

I have never heard of mossburg before so I thought it was a typo. I can't find anything about this brand on the internet?

I believe it is a typo.

Buddy of mine is a Mossberg nut, they are branching out and have started producing tons of barrels that were in demand.

Mossberg has been making barrels for other guns for years now.

Show of hands - how many of you have seen the Remington 870 barrels made by Mossberg hanging on the wall at your local sporting goods store?

What you should be afraid of - with IO/RTI - is: "Are these first run production or are they 'seconds' or 'rejects from another jobber'?"

Yep, a REAL good deal factoring in the bayo, barrel, and free shipping that I just learned of! This is the first company to beat the classic Arms deal for Bulgy 74 kits.

I don't think anyone knows of the barrel quality at the moment. A few others as well as myself have "took the plunge" and just bought it. So, we will report back on the barrel quality once they ship.

It looks like there is 49 left in stock. I believe they started with 80 kits available. So, we are almost half way gone.

just rolled the dice on one.

Time will tell on what shows up!

(not that I needed another AK74 kit, but the price is right considering the market we're in...)

Even if i sold the barrel for 60-80 bucks.. Thats 220-240 shipped for a matching number kit with a bayo. Or with a bent flat and rivits and a usa trigger you are looking at a sub 400$ ak... Hope the barrels dont keyhole.

PS, ... BTW ... WRONG bayo kiddies, a $10.00 unit at best.

Do a search here for "interordnance", "IO, Inc", and/or "Royal Tiger".

They are not known for their good products or work skills.

The bayonet doesn't appear to be Bulgarian in the picture. It looks like a Romanian one.

I dont think those are the right twist barrels. Green mountain makes some nice ones, even the crowns are just like the bulgy originals

Since this thread has 74 people and a barrel discussion, I'll throw it in. Has anyone had one of the odd ball 6 land US barrels and if so how did it do?

I think the plum (for 50.00 more) will still work for you.

Anyway, posting the sale here is a double edged sword. Great to let the members here know about a good deal but on the other hand, I'm sure that a small part company or a greedy person is going to put them right back on the market shortly at a much higher price.

I was really hoping for the wood furniture, but may settle for the plum.
How often does RoyalTiger stock kits like this? The included barrel seemed to make this a really great deal!

There were 23 wood kits about 30 minutes ago and it had been this way all morning. Somebody must have jumped on the rest.

I don't know, I don't keep up with vendors that cycle through kits to sell but sure someone here does. I would still get it, it's a good deal.

What am I missing here. I can't figure out why $300 is such a good deal. Classic has had them for $250 for awhile.
http://www.classicfirearms.com/bulak74ps

A US made 1-10 barrel doesn't sound that good to me.
