Default X-Caliber 12-Gauge Adapter System

ULTIMATE SURVIVAL RIFLE ?

The creator of Gear Up’s X Caliber Shotgun Gauge Adapter System says it's like carrying 11 guns in one.

It is composed of eight adapters that allow the 12-gauge to shoot 11 different caliber rounds. The adapters are each 7-inches long, rifled, and made from chromoly steel.

Calibers of ammo that the X Caliber allows a singe-shot shotgun to fire are .22lr, 38 special, .357, 9mm, 45 acp, 45 lc, .410 shotgun, 12 ga. shotgun, .223, 7.6239 and 308.

The system itself costs $449.99 but adapters are sold individually for $50 each.

It would appear single or double barrelled shotguns only.

I should have worded my question differently:

What BRAND and MODEL of shotgun are these adapters made to be used in?

Take your pick. Any single-shot breach-loading break-action 12-gauge will to the trick.

So my mossberg 590 is left out in the cold? Forget it then, single-shot breach-loading break-action guns have no appeal to me no matter how many calibers they can shoot. Make one that can slide in from the front of the barrel of a pump action or a semi auto shotgun. I dont know how it can be secured to the barrel but if they can do it I'll buy 3 of them.

I think you could have a gunsmith or machine shop make a 3 inch mag shell and chamber it with a smooth bore use rifle insert made for fixing old barrels any thing can be done just think about with a fine drink and a smoke if it suits you I quite smoking 25 years back and feel way better.I have a over and under and those would work nice in it.sure going to look goofy with my gold ducks and geese on recon tho.
