Now that is some nice shit.... I want to build one. What type of BBL are you using for the build and what did that magwell come off of? i was thinking more 9x18M or 9x19P

Awesome!!! Please keep us up to date on the progress. I am really interest in this for two reason:
1. surplus 7.62x25 are still plenty cheap(remeber the price of 7.62x39 a couple of year back)
2. It is really a sub-gun com block caliber with some zing to it. It could be give the AK-74SU (Krinkov) run for the money..

WOW!! I want one baaaaadddlly!!!!!!!!

Getit- Man, you are doing a great job! I was working on my pps43 magwell yesterday..trying to figure where to add some material. Did you grind a bit out on you trunnion? I am using a Yugo on on my build ,but I was checking the fit on a romy and an AMD ..the mag doesn't sit the same as a n ak on front placement. I am alittle concerned about the feeding . How is yours doing? I am thinking a 5.45 Bullet guide may help. How is that tall drum mag working? I have seen a fe done in 9mm but for the life of me haven't figured out how it would feed all the rounds. My barrel is getting cut today..so when it gets to me I will post some pictures of mine might be a week or 2.

Getit- Are you going to put on an extension or make yours a SBR? I can't own one where I live so I had to go 16". On another note have you tracked down any cheap mgs yet? I found one place that has them for $12 but heard someone has them for $9! I haven't found out who that is but if and when I do I will let you know.

What a cool project. I'd use a Krink sidefolder and SBR it. What did you use for the barrel?

just got back from test firing.....Hell Yeh!!!! works great, i am VERY pleased
only one problem that is easily fixed..the feed lips on the mag need to be longer so the round is started in the chamber before it gets past the feed lips, i am going to add them to the mag adapter so it will take all unmodded mags! cant wait to try that drum! Guys i will make a step by step once i get alittle caught up at work so look for it towards the mid/end of next week

Pretty sure it is a pps43 barrel. Getit ,way cool that the baby worked!! I was looking at the feeding lips just wondering if that would cause an issue as I sat down to read your latest post....talk about answering a question. you must have ESP!

d. hauser that is strange about not seeing the pictures. Do you have cookies blocked form this site or maybe the host site of the posted photos? I have to say getit has done a super job with this rifle. You have to see his photos.

I may have missed it, but what type of front gas blockis that? From what I can see, it does not look like a "Romi" FSB.

flejl- the gas block is a construct. It is a regular romy gas block and a regular romy front site that has been cut and welded together. The front site is cut from the base and trimmed to fit up against the gasblock and then welded or silver soldered. Coool isn't it!
