Default Vortex Sparc

Looked one of these over today. Was very intrigued by this little device, and think I will ultimately get me one of them.

It is a small diameter tube type red dot sight.

Will want to see if I can get the red dot to line up with the irons on my SIG 556 when and if I ever get it! Man took Buds all week to ship that thing. Maybe I'll see it show up this week.

Anybody have any light to shed, so to speak, on this optic?

The only thing I find wrong with mine is the dot does not look like it's 2moa more like 4moa. I have a strikefire also and the dots look the same size on both other then that it seems to be a decent RDS.

I have one and I love it!

The sight sits to far forward on the ultimak to use the magnifier that comes with it but I tell you, The thing is solid. I have beat the hell out of it so far and it keeps kicking. I will buy another one for sure for my other rifle.

At first I thought the body was bulky and to thick to have "both eyes open" type of sight picture but after using it a while I don't feel it is a problem at all.

Get one. Best money spent for this low of price point so far for me.

All of my rifle scopes have Vortex products.

I am trying to put a group buy together on rds from Vortex.

Still setting it up.

I have one but it is on my Sig 522. I like it, It is small and light and holds it's setting. In fact, I have 3 different RDS; an Aimpoint PRO on my LMT, a Primary Arms 30mm on my SGL and this Sparc. I like them all.

Man. I am really impressed with the SIG 556. There are a few things I will fiddle about with. They changed the lower receiver AGAIN!. Now there is no raised guard around the mag release, and the button is pretty nearly flush, so hard to depress, although the complaints of the location of the button being far from the trigger to reach with the trigger finger is not an issue to me at all.

After I resolve that mag release issue, I think I'll get that Sparc.
