how long will this stuff last.i plan on keeping some for the shtf situation, but the stuff i bought is older than me,made in 1976,thats two years after the 74.ive heard that wolf has a shelf life of atleast 20 years,so what can i expect out of this 30 year old ammo. thanks for the info |

Depends on how it was stored before it was sold to you. If it was stored well it will be fine to shoot over the next 10 years or so. Buy some new Wolf ammo to stash and shoot the older stuff at the range.
"Don't forget to wipe" after shooting the corrosive stuff. |

If it was properly stored it should last a long time.Remember the rifle was designed in 1974 and nobody really saw them until 78-79 in Afganistan.I think 76 might be first or second year production. Most likely the ammo came from Estonia or someplace other than Russia that is now using another caliber rifle.Estonia is now using the Galil in 5.56 NATO.
