Default M92 Barrel Extensions

Who has a good deal on barrel extensions for the new M92 PAP Pistols? I'd like to pick up a couple and weld them on until I get my tax stamps. I don't want to spend a lot since they'll be, more or less, worthless to me in 8 months or so (hopefully).

This is the only one that I've been able to find at a decent price: http://ak-builder.com/index.php?disp...oduct_id=29779

Also, I've been doing a lot of reading and can not find an answer to my question on an acceptable barrel extension weld. I've been able to gather this from doing a lot of internet reading...

You can have two types of acceptable welds:

1. There must be four weld points that are equidistant from one another.
2. You can have one solid weld that is equal to half the circumference of the extension base.

However, I've not found acceptable welds described in the BATFE NFA handbook.

If any of you guys have done barrel extensions on your M92s or something similar, please share. If you have BATFE links, that would be even better.

I wouldn't weld it as you will have to Hack up your Gas block to remove it...Best to pin.

I have seen it done by pin/weld and just Pin....I have seen shops Just pin with a Sold steel Pin. (Including red jacket)

you Wont find a Cheaper 26MM extended Break than the one posted above. If it was 24mm id but one!

PS ATF requires it to be welded 180* Solid or 4 Individual Beads 12,3,6,9 Or you can pin Or Silver solder with 1,200* SS

I picked this up from a CalGuns member who made a special run on PBS-5 cans for the M92 and Tula krinks. Trying to contact him and see if he had more.

Im in the market for something for my M92 pistol too.
Have a few questions about these two options.
The barrel extension is aluminum so no welding, pinning is the solution?
Also was wondering about cleaning the barrel with the extended brake installed.
Anyone here with experience on these on their own guns?

I found some round stock laying around that is 1.030" and fits inside the PAP muzzle nut like a glove. I'll cut it to length and weld it to the nut and make an exension. I'm going a different direction on a M92 build.., M92B1.

One thing I haven't seen agreed on one way or another is the point that nalioth brought up; that the SN must be intact but it is specified nowhere that it must be visible. Obviously one side of an underfolder will cover it, but it should be possible to leave it intact underneath. Then that SN could be easily reproduced on the trunnion for easy reference, (where it should've been located to begin with).

I surprised that there is few options for the M92 thread. Kinda disappointed as I figured that folks like CNC warrior would have that covered...

Yugo M92's used to be rare and would command $1500.00+ easy, then came this kits and now the complete (well almost complete pistols.

All of this has caught the aftermarket by surprise, you have to be patient and given time to wind up. Eventually there is going to be all kind of goodies for the M92 pistols.

Yes and No. the first lot came in long ago..10 years or so...I bought my stock at that time. M92 pistol kits were 100.00 a piece, the krinks came in for a tad bit more at $$$, these were all virgin kits.Demills hit the market, around the same time (all with barrels). The market lived off that until the recent imports came in at 500-700.00 w/ no barrels.
I guess everyone just got used to the standard issue muzzle attachment.I did, but I wanted to keep them as original as possible, Safe Queens.

CNC warrior has an excellent reputation for making fine products at reasonable prices. Thanks, guys!
