Default The bottom like on Yugo SKS's Question

Does anyone have experience with the YUGO SKS? There are deals out there selling these things for $100. That is a lot cheaper than Ive seen SKS's around here. So Im thinking of getting one. Would it be a good or bad buy?

There are several vendors selling them for $100 or less. I/O is one, but the owners have been indicted by the ATF. AIM surplus is another. I have bought several from AIM. I also think AIM has the best customer service in case you have a problem.

Just remember these aren't going to be un-issued (probably). But especially if it's going to be a shooter, they should be just fine.

Well- The red Star works and Zastava of Yugoslavia were bombed during the war! Don't believe there's going to be an endless supply of them, forever. At present prices they appear to be bargains!

Ive got one and they are a blast to shoot, and you can get pretty good accuracy out of em too. I also handload for mine, so I have really been able to squeeze out some really tight groups.
