Wow, that is going to tank the prices on M92 virgin parts kits. Imagine ready made on Yugo receiver for what a parts kit costs.

That is not good for the people who bought the virgin kits to build then...........If you get bored, you can read all the inscriptions on the new receiver..........like the Ruger receivers of days past!

Better yet, as soon as them kit's stop selling, guess what?

CLEARANCE SALE!

If you think it is not possible, then all that has to happen is the Polish pistols make it to market, no wait, Dracos make a comeback .

7.62x39 is king on Pistols (Krinks), you better start buying some ammo right about now.

There on Back order. I'm guessing you have not received yours yet, correct? Does anyone have them in stock near this asking price?

Except for the receiver scrawl a nice looker. For $300 $500 could be a nice SBR conversion or barrel extension and underfolder for a rifle. The rear block looks like it is a virgin underfolder type.

If it is the underfolder rear trunnion if would be worth SBR it. You would come out a whole lot cheaper.

These are cool! I'm sure they are nice in 7.62x39 but I'd rather have one in .556 personally.

Oh Well....Bit the bullet...

Just got in line for one of these....

http://www.impactguns.com/pap-m92-pv...450220720.aspx

I was a little concerned...read a lot of mixed reviews about Impact Guns. But, after being in major retail for 10+ years...I know how consumer/ retail criticism can be...

Dealt with Kathy (Ext#366)...Great to talk to!

I got online chat confirmation on price and spoke to her directly when ordering! She gave me an ETA of 6-8 weeks, but I think that is being rather conservative.

I spoke to Century and they are expecting the first shipment mid August as of now.

We'll see what we get when we get it! I figured off the top of my head right at a grand give or take for an M92 Virgin kit assembled on a NoDak, so at $590 shipped for a Zastava assembled import, that gives me a good bit of wiggle room!

Bring it on!

I pre-ordered one from Impact Guns. The lady on the phone was very nice and answered all my questions. I believe it was Kathy also. She said the pistols are expected to arrive in 8-12 weeks and they have 35 on order with 13 pre-orders filled. She verified that Impact will not charge my credit card until the gun ship.

The prices are all over the place on various internet stores. Ranging from $800 to $569. Atlantic Firearms said they will be getting them, but they want to look over them before they sell them. They listed an estimated price of $600-$625 on the AR15 forum. I would rather buy from Atlantic, but I can get the same gun for $589 shipped to my FFL.

+1 on what Flashpoint said! One of those is mine!

When I spoke to Andy at Century before I placed my order at Impact, he said that the first bulk shipment in from Serbia was going to go out to dealers for "inspection". He claimed that they had not seen any in country yet at Century. I was hesitant at first, but figured what the hay! I was about to order a Virgin M92 kit anyways...had already talked to TDK about barrel population. I waited around for a Draco-C and barely got one before the last import batch...after the price went up $200. I'm just gonna take my chances. Hopefully there won't be any hitches with the importing, distribution and shipping. As far as quality...I'm more than satisfied with what I got from Romania/Century with my Draco-C so (and not to be disrespecting Romies) the Zastava-Yugo/ Century should be an awesome unit to start with.

Someone said on another forum that they will be imported in the M85 flavor as well.
Just at a later date.
But you know how that goes......it must be true, I read it on the internet!

I must say, it seems be comming popular to import AK's as pistols. We like them and they
don't need to make many changes for import.

I don't see why it wouldn't. From the press pic, the rivet spacing seems to be correct for the M85/92 underfolder trunnion just like the ones coming in with the Virgin kits. It is undetermined if the trunnion in the PAPs will be milled for the underfold like the Draco-Cs are. Time will tell. Patiently waiting.........................patiently......... .........

Is that a thread protector on the end of the barrel? It sure would be nice if the end of the barrel is threaded for a krink muzzle brake....

What I'm wondering is why the protector and not the brake.

Andy @ Century could neither confirm not deny when I spoke to him about it last week. He said that they had not held one yet.
I would think it would be a protector at the most. Probably tack welded. My Draco-C did and I would figure Zastava has the same restrictions.

Does it come with Krink night sights? If not, what would be involved in putting them on?
