anyone ever tried welding a Dragunov mag to a Mosin?
might work

i would think you need to find a single stack mag ,, or do some milling to the Mosin .
But if there's a will there's a way |

The closest people have come to making a 20 round mag for the Mosin was cutting out the current magazine and grafting in a Lahti 7.62x53r magazine, which is double stack to single feed. Unfortunately, the feed lips are narrower than the bolt face, so rounds cannot be stripped out of the mag.
If you can think of it with the Mosin as far as mags go, it has been done. |

With TIG and a milling machine, anything could be possible.
