Default need info on this rifle please

i was told it is a swedish mauser re-barreled to 6mm remington. what else can you tell me?

not an M96 swede. it is a larger-ring. which is better.

need pics of the receiver ring, both sides, and top. might be a LR husqvarna.

Looks like an aftermarket trigger/safety. Weaver mounts and rings. Nice rifle. 6mm Rem. is a good combo varmint/medium game round.

No cutout for stripper clips. Could be a commercial action.

Could be something a gunsmith cobbled together a number of years ago, which isn't necessarily a bad thing so long as he was good.

On the lower receiver, I can make out "STA BARBARA" with a some other letter/digit then "SPAIN"

I would have bought it for the right price.

bolt face looks very clean, also a bit big maybe? could be the pics. check headspace, of course.

If it is 6mm, and shoots fine, with proper HS, and the scope mount holes are properly drilled, then you have an easy 350 in parts.

I would buy that rifle all day long for $300 OTD after I figured out the story on the boltface. That does not look like the proper boltface for 6mm remington. Looks recently cut for a magnum case.

Is it yours?
